Our Mission

What Is the Beacon?

The Beacon of Hearts name is inspired by Isaiah 61:1, where the prophet refers to the Messianic servant, the slain Lamb and resurrected Christ: The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release from darkness those who are bound.

The heart of the mission is to proclaim Christ’s salvation to all nations and all peoples as declared in I Chronicles 16:23-25, starting locally and going globally.

Our calling is to Revive souls (Psalm 19:7-8), Restore the weary (Isaiah 40:31; 61:1), and Return hearts to God (John 16:13).

We Honor the Word of God, Preach the Word of God, and Stand on the Word of God that brings Healing to a broken world. Matthew 28:19-20.
